Heather: Defined

  As you read this, listen to the YouTube soundtrack of Little Women, as it will take you to that place of old and  bring back memories of your own. E very time I watch “Little Women”, it brings back my fondest memories of my sisters and mom. My mom, sister (Kristen), and I made a special trip to Portland to see this movie in December of 1994.  I remember it being a cold day as we walked into the warm, huge, and packed theater.  The sense of warmth of the theater, and  all the people made me know that this was going to be a special movie.  And must I say, that was the most comfortable theater chair I ever sat in! Once those opening credits started, I started having goosebumps just from the beautiful and powerful music!  Then being taken away to a world that I never been before, for I had never read the book.    W e laughed… and cried… …and was quite frustrated that Laurie and Jo never married!  Come one!  Oh well! ...

T here is a blog I always enjoy reading! She is a godly wife and mother who is encouraging, fun-loving and inspiring. Photo by Sarah Plett Y esterday, I saw two of my good friends make a life commitment to one another. It was a beautiful ceremony, and God-honoring. Just today, I read Proverbs 31, where it speaks of The Wife of Noble Character. In reading this, I thought of Keslie, and what her new role is as a wife. She already was a woman of noble character, but now she is the "the wife". What joy she will find in doing so for the man God purposed for her! My heart is full of joy for them both! Yesterday, my mom and I went to run errands. My first stop was the Insurance company. While I was getting out of the car, my mom asked me what I was going to do there. I told her, "I'm going to pay for my health, and cancel my life." After I said it, it took a second to register what I said, and my mom and I died laughing! Hmmm, I never thought I would do that at the Insurance company!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Last weekend, when I was in McMinnville, I recorded my mom giving a tour of the yard and garden. When I moved away, my mom and dad planted and planted and planted! So here is the outcome of their hard work, which they love to do! Click on the picture below to see it. Oh, by the way, it's 18 minutes long!
