Moments of Laughter

Yesterday, my mom and I went to run errands. My first stop was the Insurance company. While I was getting out of the car, my mom asked me what I was going to do there. I told her, "I'm going to pay for my health, and cancel my life." After I said it, it took a second to register what I said, and my mom and I died laughing! Hmmm, I never thought I would do that at the Insurance company!!

Memories of “Little Women”

  As you read this, listen to the YouTube soundtrack of Little Women, as it will take you to that place of old and  bring back memories of your own. E very time I watch “Little Women”, it brings back my fondest memories of my sisters and mom. My mom, sister (Kristen), and I made a special trip to Portland to see this movie in December of 1994.  I remember it being a cold day as we walked into the warm, huge, and packed theater.  The sense of warmth of the theater, and  all the people made me know that this was going to be a special movie.  And must I say, that was the most comfortable theater chair I ever sat in! Once those opening credits started, I started having goosebumps just from the beautiful and powerful music!  Then being taken away to a world that I never been before, for I had never read the book.    W e laughed… and cried… …and was quite frustrated that Laurie and Jo never married!  Come one!  Oh well! ...

Robin Hood and Maid Marian Berry Tyme Ball

Introducing......... The White Dress! O n Saturday, we had the Robin Hood and Maid Marian Berry Thyme Ball! This ball was held in our local ballroom, which is rare. This ball seemed to me the best ever! I think it was the Ballroom atmosphere, with the decorations, the beautiful dresses and the *ahem* very handsome men. I believe my dress helped in how much I enjoyed this ball too, as funny as it sounds. It turned out great! I put some blood, sweat and tears into it. It was well worth the work to hear the compliments I got. Thank you, again, to the Plett's, for all your hard work in hosting these balls! Pizza Crust Recipe, and other news…

I sure wish I could be blogging more these days, but I don’t have any time with the Holiday Craft Fair approaching.  I have been sewing with every spare time I have, and then some.  I have decided to not go to our next ball, and have been missing some ECD classes.  It’s sad, I know, but this fair is more important right now.  Mrs. F., who is doing this me, will be selling her jewelry…did I already tell you that?  Anyway, she and I talked yesterday and found out she will be making her Caramel Corn to sell also!!  Yumminess!! Also, I do ask that you please pray for her mother.  Her doctor found a tumor on her liver.  They aren’t sure if it’s cancer; but since she has had cancer a couple years ago, her family is almost sure it is cancer.  They will find out in 2 weeks what it is.  Please pray for peace that transcends all understanding for her, and the rest of the family. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PIZZA CRUST RECIPE A...
