O n the 4th of July weekend, my friends and I, took part in a Civil War Reenactment. This is my second year doing it, but my first "Official" year because last year I was just a guest. My friend Charlyn and I camped in the modern camp, but during the day, our friends, the Plett's, were our family (which you see above). They are the friends who put on the English Country Dancing Balls that I attend. Here are just a few of the pictures I took of our weekend together. Enjoy! For Today... Outside my Window ...the sky is blue with a few clouds and light wind, while my mother waters her flowers. I am thinking ...there are so many ways to make my yo-yo's into doilies! I am thankful for ...this busy summer! From the kitchen ...graham crackers, marshmallows and Hershey Bars! S'mores are on my mind! I am creating ...yo-yo doilies! I am wearing ...my pink lacey tank top underneath my brown tank top, and my most comfortable sweats. Don't forget the socks! I am reading ...The Revelation by Beverly Lewis. It is the 5th book of the Abram's Daughters series. I'm sure going to miss these characters when I'm done. I am hoping ...to lose 10 pounds in a months time. I am hearing ...Anne of Green Gables movie! Matthew just died. :( Around the house ...my yo-yo's are on the family room floor, while my cat is laying on the couch because my dad is varnishing the deck. Need to tidy up a bit. One of my favorite things ...is seeing God work

The day of the Summer Ball, my sister, and some of her children, came to visit us. Her husband and my nephew, Andrew, went to Ensenada, Mexico, for a Missions Trip. That was also my other nephew, James, birthday...which I missed since I was dancing. :( But I did make his birthday cake! We enjoyed their 5 day visit! On Sunday, I got to do Tori's, my niece, hair. OH how much she loved that! I became her best friend after that! :P Below you will see one of many pics I took of her. She wanted to make sure I got tons of those! :P After church, Tori, Jon and I, went to go see Wall E. What a cute movie, but a bit different to the other Pixar movies. After the movie, my sister brought the rest of the kids to a Ice Cream Shop to enjoy some ice cream on a hot day!
