The Making of the White Regency Dress

I wasn't sure what kind of fabric, or color, I was going to use for this next one, until I went to Joanns. And it came to me! I've always wanted a white regency dress! With that in mind I picked out my fabrics for this white dress. Notice I said "fabrics" because, as you know, white dresses are see thru.
I got the white muslin for lining, a white textured satin fabric (I don't know what it's called), then a sheer material to go over the sating type fabric. I had some of an idea of what I wanted, but I just couldn't get it figured out.
Then I had thought, thought and thought about how I was going to make it. Then Elinor's white dress came to mind.

Then I got out my 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie. Hmmm, Jane's is so close! Bodice, yes; skirt, yes; sleeves, yes (without the slit)...but what to do with the sheer fabric?
Then, I watched the scene where Mr. Bingley proposes....Then it came to me....
....you'll just have to be surprised!!!!
